We began our partnership with One Source in July 2018. Previously, we used multiple sources that provided our resort with outsourced labor on an as-needed basis. In our first meeting with One Source, their approach was different from that of other vendors, but their reasoning made sense and was intriguing. Within a few months, we increased the number of buildings that One Source was responsible for, and we were able to consolidate our outsourced labor needs to just one vendor. One Source was always able to provide labor to satisfy our occupancy needs, something the other vendors were not consistently able to do.
This year, we took the opportunity to work with One Source at our hotel properties in New Jersey and New York. One Source was tasked and contracted to staff all back-of-the-house positions, which include the housekeeping and engineering departments. The team did a fantastic job reviewing our job requirements and matching qualified individuals. They absorbed most of our internal staff and implemented their own training practices to both meet and exceed our brand standards. Our property has seen an increase in productivity and in our guest satisfaction scores, which is a true testament to their hiring and training process.
